GCSE Presentation Ceremony - Class of 2011

A very special gathering took place to present the students with their certificates. Many former students have made a successful transition to further education, employment or training.

‘It was good to come back and see all our old teachers’ said Muzthahid who is currently at NewVic studying A levels in preparation for Medicine.

The former pupils arrived looking very grown up in their best clothes. The evening was a celebration of all they have achieved in the five years they spent in Langdon.

The GCSE Awards Presentation Ceremony is now in its second year and follows the success of last years ceremony. The ceremony was in addition to the earlier Year 11 Prom that allowed all pupils to celebrate their final year at Chigwell Golf Club. Langdon School continues to maintain positive links with former pupils to ensure that throughout their future, they remain connected to the school community and this was a testament to that commitment.

Pupils were presented with their certificates by their Heads of Learning Mr Bateman and Ms McCormack as well as Head Teacher Dr Tabassum. They were joined by longstanding local Member of Parliament Mr Stephen Timms(MP).

We wish the pupils all the very best of a happy, successful and fulfilling life journey in the future. A big thank you to all staff who helped to arrange the evening.
