A Message to the Families and Friends of Langdon School

One of our principal aims at Langdon School is to offer all our students the widest possible access to an extensive range of activities before, during and after school hours, in the evenings and at weekends.  We value the rich and enriching potential available from both the formal and informal curriculum and this belief is reflected in our co-curricular programme which promotes new opportunities in our community.  In offering these activities we believe that we are offering our young people a better opportunity to develop their creativity, enterprise and natural talents to the full.  In this way every student should be able to find additional enrichment activities which will add value to their education and life beyond school.  Our Sports Hall is a high quality facility providing an on-site gym and a comprehensive programme of community sports and activities.
 

A Message to all our Students

The downloadable handbook will help you to choose and locate one or many of the wide range of musical, cultural, artistic, sporting and other activities which take place in Langdon before School starts, at lunchtime, in the hours after school, at weekends and during School holidays.  Remember, learning is not just about attending three sessions a day.  Everybody can get more out of their time at school by taking part in as many as possible of the wide selection of activities which we offer everyone here.
